What's more ridiculous than three grown men quizzing one another on video game trivia? Three grown men quizzing one another on games trivia and drinking when they're wrong! And sometimes when they're right. There's just a lot of drinking, okay? It makes for an extra goofy, extra chaotic episode where nothing is sacred and no one is safe. Not even Derek Jeter. The Game Boys Podcast is almost at an end. But, over the course of nearly 300 episodes, the Boys have made one too many references to the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie not to review it for the show. So, this week Alex, Ryan, and Tim are joining two clueless plumbers from Brooklyn as they tumble into an alternate universe where dinosaurs never went extinct. What does any of this have to do with the Super Mario Bros. game franchise? Just how awful is the film really? Is it really as bad as everyone remembers?

With the Alex, Ryan, and Tim on such a Resident Evil kick, there's no way they could resist the urge to review Netflix's new Resident Evil show just as soon as it drops. With an infamously bad film franchise, some underwhelming animated efforts, and a mediocre movie reboot, how does the streaming service's live action series fair? This week, the Game Boys have compiled a list of the Top 10 Gaming Franchises. Each host brought a ranked list of 10 series with no criteria whatsoever. Position on each list weighted the entries when they were compiled making for a unique list boasting a bit of each host's interests. And, as a dumb added bonus, they also created a Top 10 Legend of Zelda Items list. Because why not? Show's ending, nothing matters anymore. Like this description I'm writing. Does anyone read these? Or am I just writing to the void? God, I'm lonely.
